Re-surfacing from his workshop, located deep below the concrete plains of Calgary is the prolific and inventive Dirty Sample, known to some as Planit. On this instrumental release, the Dirty Sample offers another helping of his off kilter musical mélange, serving hip-hop beats that at once salute the past and announce the future. Dirty funk, triumphant horns, and soulful keys are held together by, well, dirty samples.

Many Neferiu fans will recall the banging Dirty Sample-produced mixtape (The Belvedere Sessions) that was made available on Neferiu Records a couple years back. This time around, the beats shine, sans vocals, which gives the DS more room to maneuver his signature samplings which provides the songs with a lot of their spice.
