Mind-blowing producer, spastic vocalist, popular radio host, and founder/president of Neferiu, Nate Schmold, AKA The Mantrakid, wears many hats, but none are capable of containing the genius that inhabits his brain. Already respected as a top-notch producer and innovator, Mantrakid exposed himself as an influential solo artist with the release of his proper debut ‘Palmflowerblack’ in 2008.
Since then, he has contributed intense production credits for his label mate & long-time collaborator Ricca Razor Sharp, as well as a steady stream of production and remix work for electronic and hip hop artists worldwide. MKs tireless work is the single largest force behind one of Canada’s greatest avenues for experimental hip hop and electronic music: Neferiu Records.
