Shep & Stilz: Digital Sol

NEF140: Trouble comes in threes, and with this being the third official release featuring your man Shep on the mic and your other man Stilz on the beat, you can tell they aren’t fucking around this time. Just in time for summer, Stilz seems to have achieved a whole other level with his production style dropping most—if not all—of the gritty underground sound and opts this time for more of a crystalline club feel with uptempo drums and synth a plenty.

He lays the groundwork for Shep’s expert lady lovin’ lyrics to dance across the entire 6 track EP with expertise and finesse. Harmonizing in just the right places, and getting raw with the raps in others. If you already dug Shep & Stilz, this is a fine addition to the collection.
